About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our Ta7lnew̓ás Education, Employment and Training Department as a Language and Cultural Program Facilitator. This role requires a strong working knowledge of the Squamish language and the ability to plan and deliver language and cultural programs for students and mentorship.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement language and cultural programs for students and mentorship
  • Work with the EET team to achieve goals, including family/community engagement
  • Support EET department language and cultural programming needs
  • Use a student-focused approach to support the full inclusion of all learners

Requirements

  • Combination of education and experience
  • Professional, adaptable communication style with strong interpersonal skills
  • High level of emotional intelligence, patience, and integrity
  • Ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations
  • Resourceful and organized, with excellent time management skills
  • Able to communicate effectively both verbally and written
  • Maintains the highest degree of confidentiality
  • Team-oriented and collaborative with a positive and professional demeanor

Salary: $57,144 - $63,738 annually
