Job Summary:

Cineplex is seeking a skilled Sous Chef to join our team at The Rec Room Seasons of Tuxedo. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional dining experiences to our guests while maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day culinary operations, ensuring adherence to health and safety guidelines and company standards.
  • Support the scheduling of culinary staff and order inventory and supplies as needed.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to plan and direct the preparation of meals, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Develop and maintain a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting a culture of respect and teamwork.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary diploma or degree an asset.
  • 2-5 years of experience in a similar environment, with a valid Food Handler's certificate.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team.
  • Schedule flexibility to work extended hours as required.
