Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Senior Administrative Coordinator to join our team at the Government of Alberta. As a key member of our Site Services department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of daily accommodations and providing exceptional administrative support to our executive team.
Key Responsibilities
- As the primary point of contact for Accommodations, you will be responsible for coordinating a range of high-profile, sensitive, and confidential issues, requiring a strong understanding of our department's organization, policies, and practices.
- You will handle various administrative duties, including managing appointments, setting up meetings, monitoring calendars for events, and troubleshooting technical issues as required.
- You will provide administrative support to our executive team, including managing schedules, preparing correspondence, and coordinating travel arrangements.
- You will serve as a liaison and relationship manager, building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- You will provide problem-solving and strategic coordination, working closely with our team to identify and implement solutions to complex issues.
Requirements
- Strong logical and methodical reasoning skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively plan, investigate issues, provide options, make recommendations, and manage small projects
- Strong administrative skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines
