Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Coordinator to join our team at Platinum Transport Group Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our office operations, ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement new administrative procedures to improve efficiency and productivity
  • Delegate work to office support staff and provide guidance and training as needed
  • Administer policies and procedures related to the release of records in processing requests under government access to information and privacy legislation
  • Coordinate and plan for office services such as accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance and security services
  • Assist in the preparation of operating budget and maintain inventory and budgetary controls
  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate records
  • Train staff on new procedures and policies
  • Resolve conflict situations and coach staff as needed
  • Monitor and evaluate office operations and make recommendations for improvement
  • Oversee payroll administration and plan and control budget and expenditures
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in an administrative role
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience working in a private sector environment
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
