Palliative Care Specialist

The Palliative Care Specialist will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in St. Peter's Hospital, working collaboratively with the healthcare team to maintain quality of life, comfort, and autonomy.
Responsibilities- Provide expert nursing care to patients with complex needs, including those requiring palliative care and medical support
- Contribute to the development and implementation of individualized care plans
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records
To be successful as a Palliative Care Specialist, you will require:
- A degree in Nursing from an accredited institution and current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- At least three years of clinical experience in palliative care and medically complex patient care
- Excellent leadership and decision-making skills, with the ability to adapt quickly to changing conditions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to exceptional patient care
- A strong focus on teaching and preceptorship, with experience mentoring nursing students
We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Other benefits include:
