Job Description

As a Caregiving Specialist - Palliative Care with Bayshore HealthCare, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our clients in their community. Your primary responsibility will be to assess client needs, develop personalized care plans, and deliver compassionate and professional care. This may involve palliative care, pediatric care, wound care, intravenous therapy, and health teaching for chronic disease prevention.

You will work as the primary care planner for your clients, having the autonomy to provide a holistic approach to care while increasing your skills through our comprehensive training, mentorship, and preceptorship programs.

In this role, you will teach, delegate tasks, and functions to different levels of workers and client family members while maintaining our industry's highest level of practice.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this position, you must have:

  • Current registration as a member in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
  • Updated Immunization Records and a clear criminal background check upon hire.
  • Current CPR certification.
