Job Title: VP of Engineering

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled VP of Engineering to join our team at Understanding Recruitment Group. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading and scaling our cross-functional engineering group, driving technical excellence, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a large team of engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure their success.
  • Develop and implement technical strategies to drive innovation, improve efficiency, and enhance the overall developer experience.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, design, and QA, to ensure seamless delivery of software solutions.
  • Ensure the team is following best practices, adhering to industry standards, and maintaining high levels of technical excellence.
  • Develop and manage technical roadmaps, ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategic goals.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a VP of Engineering or equivalent, with a strong track record of leading and scaling engineering teams.
  • Strong technical background in software engineering, data tooling, and database management.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Experience working in largescale data environments, with a strong understanding of data architecture and engineering.
