About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced VP, Business Development to lead our strategic account management efforts and drive business growth in the Data and AI vertical.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to identify and pursue new business opportunities with key clients and prospects.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives and other key decision-makers at our target accounts.
  • Collaborate with our Solutions Architects and Product teams to craft executive-level proposals, pitches, and Statements of Work (SOWs) for prospective and existing clients.
  • Advise our internal teams on industry and vendor trends to remain well-positioned to assist our clients.
  • Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, including cross-selling and upselling within existing client accounts.
Requirements
  • Deep consulting and sales experience in Data Engineering and/or custom AI services engaging with F500-level client accounts.
  • Proven track record of net-new client logo acquisition or cross-selling within existing client accounts.
  • Extensive knowledge in AI, Machine Learning, Machine Learning Ops, Data Engineering, and/or Data Science.
  • Intellectual curiosity about the Data & AI market and trends.
  • Ability to identify and characterize business issues, while demonstrating a 'nose for value' to discern what is important.
  • Maintains the capability to scope and plan underlying analyses that will yield critical answers to the questions at hand.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and succinctly, both verbally and on paper, and across all levels of an organization.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Background in Data Engineering or Data Science.
  • Master's Degree in Business Administration.
