The Role

As a Development Director, you will oversee a variety of disciplines, including artists, designers, software engineers, QA, and production staff. You will be responsible for managing project schedules, ensuring quality, collaboration, and communication among team members.

  • You will build strong relationships with your immediate team and external partners to ensure successful project completion.
  • Provide line management to employees across departments and within a single project team.
  • Communicate regularly with the project team and coordinate dependencies with external partners.
  • Participate in the hiring process to ensure candidates meet project requirements.
  • Establish and assign tasks from defined project goals; achieve project deliverables through managing a team at a project-level.
  • Proactively mitigate risk for assigned scope and quality.
  • Establish an overall project schedule based on individual task estimates for production and determine resource requirements to meet task demands.

Your Qualifications

  • A minimum of 8 years of project management or team leadership experience, with 4+ years of management experience working in a dynamic and collaborative team environment.
  • A university degree, Bachelor's, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience communicating across all levels and organizations.
  • Experience in project management methodologies such as Waterfall and Agile.

Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
