About the Role

As a Senior Game Development Director at Kabam, you will oversee full franchise operations, project management, and project auditing. This is a senior-level position that requires exceptional leadership skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead coaching, mentoring, and career development of your team, responsible for talent planning within your cross-functional team. Lead project managers at all levels of your team.
  • Partner with the leadership team to ensure the team has the best organizational structure and processes that allow them to produce high-quality, on-time, and on-budget results.
Project Management

You will manage all operational aspects of game development for a team or multiple teams, including establishing development frameworks, reporting, risk management, capacity planning, resource management, and budgeting.

  • Determine the resource needs of the team, resolve identified gaps, monitor, and adjust capacity plans within multiple projects.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Producer, Finance, and Product Manager to establish a project budget.
Financial Tracking

You will work closely with the Executive Producer, Finance, and Product Manager to reconcile basic financial information for reporting and ensure projects are within spending limits for time and resources.

  • 10+ years of Project Management, Operations, and leadership experience with the ability to work with a variety of partners.
  • 2+ years recent experience leading development on multi-platform environments, in a AAA game environment.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have a strong track record of developing best practices and tools for project execution and management. You should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and set clear expectations.

Benefits
