Restaurant Assistant Manager Job Description
At OSMOWS GEORGETOWN, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage budgets to determine the cost of food, ingredients, alcohol, kitchen, and cleaning supplies.
- Evaluate daily operations to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
- Monitor staff performance and provide feedback and coaching to ensure that staff are meeting their performance goals.
- Plan and organize daily operations to ensure that the restaurant is running smoothly and efficiently.
- Recruit and train staff to ensure that the restaurant has the necessary staff to meet customer demand.
- Set staff work schedules to ensure that the restaurant is adequately staffed at all times.
- Supervise staff to ensure that they are performing their duties to the highest standard.
- Conduct performance reviews to evaluate staff performance and provide feedback and coaching as needed.
- Organize and maintain inventory to ensure that the restaurant has the necessary supplies to meet customer demand.
- Ensure health and safety regulations are followed to ensure that the restaurant is a safe and healthy environment for customers and staff.
- Address customer complaints and provide excellent customer service to ensure that customers have a positive experience at the restaurant.
Requirements:
- College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
- Willing to relocate to join our team at OSMOWS GEORGETOWN.
- Relocation costs covered by employer to ensure that the successful candidate can relocate to join our team.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to ensure that the restaurant is running smoothly and efficiently.
- Ability to multitask to ensure that the restaurant is adequately staffed at all times.
- Fast-paced environment to ensure that the restaurant is running smoothly and efficiently.
- Work under pressure to ensure that the restaurant is running smoothly and efficiently.
- Attention to detail to ensure that the restaurant is a safe and healthy environment for customers and staff.
- Dependability to ensure that the restaurant is running smoothly and efficiently.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills to ensure that customers have a positive experience at the restaurant.
- Organized to ensure that the restaurant is running smoothly and efficiently.
- Reliability to ensure that the restaurant is running smoothly and efficiently.
- Team player to ensure that the restaurant is running smoothly and efficiently.
- Ability to multitask to ensure that the restaurant is adequately staffed at all times.
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
- Permanent position with a minimum of 30 to 40 hours per week.
- Langue de travail: Anglais to ensure that customers have a positive experience at the restaurant.
