About the Role

CIBC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director, Workforce Planning and Optimization to join our team. As a key member of our Business Effectiveness and Capacity Management team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining an initiative intake plan for the prioritization of all projects and initiatives for all channels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Maintain Initiative Intake Plan: Create a comprehensive plan to prioritize projects and initiatives across all channels, ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategic goals.
  • Lead Business Effectiveness and Capacity Management: Provide leadership and expertise in business effectiveness and capacity management, driving innovation and improvement across the organization.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with Operations, COE, Finance, Human Resources, and other partners to drive client experience and staffing/skilling strategies.
  • Develop and Implement Workforce Planning Tools and Models: Design and implement workforce planning tools and models to optimize workforce capacity and drive business outcomes.
  • Provide Data-Driven Insights and Recommendations: Analyze data and provide actionable insights and recommendations to inform business decisions and drive strategic initiatives.
Requirements
  • Strong Analytical Background: Proven experience in managing quantitative planning, scheduling, and data analysis.
  • Leadership and Management Experience: Demonstrated ability to lead and manage high-performing teams, driving business outcomes and employee engagement.
  • Business Acumen and Strategic Thinking: Strong understanding of business operations, strategic planning, and change management.
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to communicate complex ideas and build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
