We are seeking a highly skilled Portfolio Manager to oversee the management of our residential and commercial properties in Kelowna. This is a key leadership role that requires a strong background in property management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders.

About the Role:

  • Oversee daily operational activities and provide on-the-ground leadership with direct reports and other stakeholders.
  • Provide a leadership role in optimizing systems and processes; work closely with senior leaders to provide recommendations for cost-effective operational enhancements.
  • Manage various aspects of assigned properties (leasing, market research, maintenance, budgeting, compliance to regulatory bodies, preventative maintenance and asset management, etc.)
  • Support the development and implementation of standard operating procedures to align with business growth.
  • Lead employee staffing, development, and retention strategies.
  • Foster a positive work environment for all staff.

About You:

  • Post-secondary degree in a relevant field.
  • 7+ years of property management experience.
  • 5+ years of experience with leadership capacity.
  • Proficiency in Yardi Voyageur would be considered an asset.
  • Competency in MS Office and relevant databases and software.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of financial reporting, budget planning, forecasting.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive base pay ranging from $110,000 to $130,000 depending on candidate experience and qualifications.
  • A variable pay structure, annual merit pay increases, paid vacation, comprehensive benefit plan, matching RRSP plan, general education & training program, and more.
