About the Role:

We're seeking a highly skilled UX Design Researcher to join our team at Google. As a UX Design Researcher, you'll play a critical role in gathering insights about the attitudes, emotions, and behaviors of people who use our products to inform and inspire design.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct user research to identify patterns and trends that inform design decisions
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of user needs and behaviors
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, product, and engineering, to integrate research findings into product development
  • Design and implement user-centered design methods to craft industry-leading user experiences
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, technologies, and best practices

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 4+ years of experience in conversation design, product design, or UX
  • Experience in visual or interaction design across multiple platforms, including Android, iOS, and the web
  • Portfolio showcasing experience in visual design
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and familiarity with technical constraints and limitations
