Your Opportunity

We're seeking a Bilingual Senior Accountant to join our Assurance team in Winnipeg. If you're interested in relocating, we may offer financial assistance. As a successful candidate, you'll:

  • Independently or within a team environment, handle audit tasks effectively and efficiently.
  • Prepare year-end engagements and tax returns for clients in various industries.
  • Perform audits on organizations, prepare working papers, and financial statements per regulatory standards.
  • Build positive relationships with clients and respond to their requests and suggestions.
  • Participate in business development initiatives and identify new opportunities with existing clients.
  • Communicate progress updates and issues with team members on an ongoing basis.
  • Engage in training staff and invest in the professional development of your team.
  • Be fluently bilingual in both French and English (written and oral).

Your Experience and Education

  • You have completed your CPA designation or are in the process of completion.
  • You have 2-3 years of audit experience in the public accounting industry.
  • You enjoy working within the private enterprise, non-profit, and public sector industries and are keen to develop further knowledge in these areas.
  • You value teamwork, client service, and quality in detailed work.
  • You display strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills in both French and English.

Compensation

We estimate a salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 based on your qualifications and experience.
