Job Title: Stewarding/Dishwashing Attendant

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Stewarding/Dishwashing Attendant to join our team at Fairmont Banff Springs. As a key member of our Food and Beverage department, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation in our kitchen and dining areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate industrial dishwashers and wash glassware and other items by hand
  • Wash and sanitize pots and pans, kitchen equipment, and utensils
  • Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, lines, and surfaces
  • Ensure floors and work areas are clean, dry, and clear of hazards and obstructions
  • Recycle and remove trash from all areas
  • Follow and adhere to ALLSAFE health and safety protocols

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role is an asset
  • Ability to operate industrial machinery and lift up to 50lbs
  • Ability to stand and walk for 8 hours
  • Exposure to kitchen equipment, sounds, fumes, chemicals, and working in hot, humid, and cold environments
