Job Title: Stewarding Supervisor

At Fairmont Banff Springs, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Stewarding Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our food and beverage operations, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and order in our kitchens, dish areas, and related backspaces.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of Stewarding Attendants, Sanitation & Recycling Attendants, Night Cleaners, and Outlet Stockers
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of kitchen and banquet set-ups
  • Perform quarterly inventory of china, glassware, and silverware, and report variances and discrepancies
  • Create and input weekly schedules on Excel, Watson, and Time Enterprise platforms
  • Uphold the highest level of hygiene and sanitation regulations
  • Order cleaning supplies and input work orders on items needing repair
  • Drive the 1-ton delivery van to ensure timely delivery of food and supplies
Requirements:
  • Previous leadership experience in Stewarding field required
  • Proven organizational and coaching skills
  • Class 5 Driver's License, with a comfort level driving a company vehicle of up to 1-ton
  • Updated drivers abstract
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
