Job Title: Stewarding Supervisor

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Stewarding Supervisor to join our team at Fairmont Banff Springs. As a Stewarding Supervisor, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and order for all of the kitchens, dish areas, and related backspaces for our dining outlets. You will also lead a team of Stewarding Attendants, Sanitation & Recycling Attendants, Night Cleaners, and Outlet Stockers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of Stewarding Attendants, Sanitation & Recycling Attendants, Night Cleaners, and Outlet Stockers
  • Complete and review all Kitchen and Banquet Set-ups to ensure accuracy and timeliness
  • Perform quarterly inventory of china, glassware, and silverware, and report variances and discrepancies
  • Create and input weekly schedule on Excel, Watson, and Time Enterprise platforms
  • Uphold the highest level of hygiene and sanitation regulations, ensuring all equipment in the kitchens and dishwashing areas are clean and in good working order
  • Order cleaning supplies and input work orders on items needing repair
  • Drive the 1-ton delivery van to ensure food and supplies are delivered to the correct location in a timely fashion
Requirements:
  • Previous leadership experience in Stewarding field required
  • Proven organizational and coaching skills
  • Class 5 Driver's License, with a comfort level driving a company vehicle of up to 1-ton
  • Updated drivers abstract
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
