Job Summary:

The Stewarding Supervisor is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and order for all of the kitchens, dish areas, and related backspaces for our dining outlets. This role requires strong leadership skills to lead a team of Stewarding Attendants, Sanitation & Recycling Attendants, Night Cleaners, and Outlet Stockers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of stewards to ensure efficient and effective kitchen operations.
  • Complete and review all kitchen and banquet set-ups to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Perform quarterly inventory of china, glassware, and silverware, and report variances and discrepancies.
  • Create and input weekly schedules on Excel, Watson, and Time Enterprise platforms.
  • Uphold the highest level of hygiene and sanitation regulations, ensuring all equipment in the kitchens and dishwashing areas are clean and in good working order.
  • Order cleaning supplies and input work orders on items needing repair.
  • Drive the 1-ton delivery van to ensure food and supplies are delivered to the correct location in a timely fashion.

Requirements:

  • Previous leadership experience in the stewarding field is required.
  • Proven organizational and coaching skills.
  • Class 5 Driver's License, with a comfort level driving a company vehicle of up to 1-ton.
  • Updated driver's abstract.
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Windows applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
