Job Summary:

Weins Auto Group is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented IT Technician to join our dynamic team. As an IT Technician, you will be responsible for installing, replacing, and maintaining hardware and software systems, as well as providing technical support to users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hardware and Software Installation: Install or replace new or replacement hardware and software as requested by the IT Manager.
  • Technical Support: Assist users with hardware and software issues, including the removal of malware and viruses.
  • Documentation and Maintenance: Create and maintain various user lists, technical documentation, and instruction manuals for various products.
  • Coordination and Planning: Coordinate installation of hardware, software, and maintenance of PC's and peripherals.
  • General Support: Provide general support as required by the IT Manager.
  • Computer Systems Support: Support and installation of computer systems.

Qualifications:

  • Education: A diploma in a recognized post-secondary program in computer technology.
  • Technical Skills: The ability to support software – including Office Suite, email clients, internet browsers, and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Communication and Organizational Skills: Excellent verbal, written communication skills, organizational skills, and presentation skills.
  • Troubleshooting and Analytical Skills: Troubleshooting skills with an ability to resolve IT issues in a reasonable timeframe.
  • Strong Work Ethics: Strong work ethics with a proven reliability factor.
  • Valid Driver's License: A valid Ontario Driver's License and transportation for offsite work (mileage reimbursement provided).
