**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Support Specialist to join our team at Heritage Service Group Canada. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to our employees and ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to employees via phone, email, and in-person
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with hardware, software, and network systems
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, and other equipment
- Develop and implement technical solutions to improve IT systems and processes
- Collaborate with the IT team to ensure seamless operation of IT systems
- Document and maintain technical knowledge and procedures
- Participate in on-call rotation and provide support during system outages and upgrades
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in IT support
- Relevant certifications (e.g. CompTIA A+, Cisco CCNA)
- Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and software
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Valid provincial driver's license and clean driver's abstract
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Microsoft SCCM and Active Directory
- Knowledge of Group Policy, PowerShell, and Print and File services
- Experience with virtual environments (e.g. VMware)
- Knowledge of business applications (ERP or financial systems)
