About This Role

We are seeking an experienced fire protection design specialist to join our team at Viking. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing automatic fire sprinkler systems and preparing drawings according to current codes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and prepare drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, and HydraCAD systems.
  • Reproduce and draw sketches, drawings, and plans for various fire protection projects.
  • Arrange sprinklers on drawings according to current standards and codes.
  • Verify drawings according to established procedures and protocols.
  • Participate in project meetings for coordination and ensure seamless project execution.
  • Order materials based on coordinated drawings and specifications.
  • Conduct field surveys for installation drawings and documentation.
Requirements
  • Diploma in Fire Protection Engineering Technology or Design, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in fire protection drafting and design.
  • Proficiency in computer-assisted design with AutoCAD and knowledge of HydraCAD.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and codes governing fire protection systems.
