Veterinary Receptionist

Location: Toronto, ON

VCA Canada Downtown Animal Hospital is seeking a full-time Client Care Coordinator to join our team. As a well-established, fast-paced veterinary clinic in the downtown core, we prioritize customer service and patient care. Our positive and fun work environment is the perfect place for an organized, motivated, and empathetic individual to thrive in a support role.

  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring pets and pet parents feel welcomed and appreciated
  • Answer multiline phone systems, track and book appointments effectively
  • Schedule appointments, admit and discharge pet patients
  • Invoice and bill clients, create estimates and process payments
  • Take initiative and work independently
  • A Veterinary Assistant (VA) or Veterinary Assistant Office Administration (VAOA) program certificate is an asset
  • Perform general housekeeping duties, maintaining cleanliness of reception areas, pet holding areas, and common spaces
  • Assist the Veterinary staff with various tasks and treatments, demonstrating a love for all companion animals
