Secord Animal Hospital is seeking a highly organized and empathetic Veterinary Receptionist, Animal Care Attendant to join our team. This is an exceptional opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and provide top-notch support to our clients and their pets.

  • Excellent communication skills to provide exceptional customer service and create a welcoming environment for pets and their owners
  • Ability to remain calm and adaptable in stressful situations, ensuring a smooth experience for all
  • Willingness to learn and grow with our team, staying up-to-date on veterinary services and medical office procedures
  • Proficiency in handling a multiline phone system, scheduling appointments, and tracking patient information
  • Responsibilities include admitting and discharging patients, creating estimates, and processing payments
  • Providing compassionate care duties, including feeding and walking patients, and maintaining a clean and safe environment
  • A Veterinary Assistant (VA) or Veterinary Assistant Office Administration (VAOA) program certificate is an asset
  • A passion for working with companion animals and their families
