We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Guest Services Assistant Manager to join our team at Vail Resorts. As a key member of our resort operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our Product Sales and Services departments, including Guest Services, Snow School Sales, and Reservations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure that all guests have a memorable and enjoyable experience at our resort.
- Lead and manage a team of Guest Services, Snow School Sales, and Reservations staff to ensure that all operations run smoothly and efficiently.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Collaborate with other resort departments to ensure seamless operations and excellent guest experience.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
- Ensure that all staff are trained and equipped to provide exceptional customer service and meet the needs of our guests.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including guests, staff, and vendors.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure that our resort remains competitive and innovative.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a resort or hospitality setting.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with guests, staff, and stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify areas for improvement and implement changes.
- Knowledge of resort operations and customer service principles.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
