Job Title: Guest Services Captain

At Fairmont Chateau Whistler, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Guest Services Captain to join our team. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for leading and supervising the Guest Services team, ensuring that all service standards are met and exceeded.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and supervise the Guest Services team to deliver exceptional guest experiences
  • Handle guest concerns and complaints in a professional and timely manner
  • Attend regular departmental meetings to discuss service standards and guest feedback
  • Assist in managing the departmental budget and scheduling colleagues
  • Balance operational, administrative, and colleague needs to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Provide guests with information and assistance regarding hotel facilities and services
Requirements:
  • Previous leadership experience in guest services or a related field
  • Previous experience with Property Management Systems (PMS) and Microsoft Windows applications
  • Valid BC Driver's Licence
  • Professional presentation and excellent communication skills
