About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Glass Installation Specialist to join our team at Progress Glass Company Ltd. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for installing and repairing glass products, including windows, doors, and other glass structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine the type of glass, frames, and materials required for each installation
  • Measure, mark, and cut glass to ensure precise fits
  • Position and secure panes in frames, ensuring proper alignment and sealing
  • Assemble and install prefabricated glass, mirrors, or glass products
  • Install door, window, and other hardware, ensuring proper function and safety
  • Repair glass doors and other glass structures, using specialized techniques and equipment
  • Estimate costs and materials required for each installation, ensuring accurate quotes and efficient use of resources
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in glass installation and repair
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, with frequent bending, crouching, and kneeling
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a team
