We are seeking a skilled Glass Installer to join our team at Progress Glass Company Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Glass Installer will be responsible for installing glass products, including windows, doors, and other glass structures, in a safe and efficient manner. The ideal candidate will have experience working with glass and have a strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Determine the type of glass, frames, and materials required for each installation
  • Measure, mark, and cut glass to ensure a precise fit
  • Position and secure panes in frames, ensuring a watertight seal
  • Assemble and install prefabricated glass, mirrors, or glass products
  • Install door, window, and other hardware, ensuring proper alignment and function
  • Repair glass doors and other glass structures, using specialized tools and techniques
  • Estimate costs and materials required for each installation
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on safety and quality
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to lift and move heavy materials, as needed
Work Environment:

The Glass Installer will work in a retail service and repair firm, with a focus on on-site customer service and installation. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on safety and quality.
