We are seeking a skilled Glass Installation Specialist to join our team at Progress Glass Company Ltd. as a key member of our fabrication and installation team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and Determine Glass Requirements

Determine the type of glass, frames, and materials required for various projects, ensuring accurate measurements and specifications.

Measure, Cut, and Assemble Glass

Measure, mark, and cut glass to precise specifications, and assemble and install prefabricated glass, mirrors, or glass products.

Install and Repair Glass Structures

Install door, window, and other hardware, and repair glass doors and other glass structures, ensuring a high level of quality and attention to detail.

Estimate Costs and Materials

Estimate costs and materials required for projects, ensuring accurate quotes and efficient use of resources.

Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced fabrication and installation environment, collaborating with our team to deliver high-quality glass products and services to our customers.

Requirements
  • Education and Experience

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.

Work Setting

On-site customer service, repair, retail service and repair firm, installation, and shop fabrication.

Physical Demands

Physically demanding work, requiring bending, crouching, kneeling, and lifting.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Language

English language proficiency.

Work Hours

30 hours per week.
