About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at 1303071 Alberta Ltd. As a key member of our retail operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our sales floor and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of sales workers, providing guidance and support as needed.
    • Assign sales workers to duties and tasks to ensure efficient operation of the sales floor.
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that customers receive exceptional service and support, responding to their needs and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Inventory Management
    • Organize and maintain inventory levels, ensuring that stock is accurately counted and stored.
  • Reporting and Analysis
    • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Store Operations
    • Authorize the return of merchandise and resolve any issues that may arise, including supply shortages and customer complaints.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail environment.
  • Work Setting
    • Retail business environment.
  • Supervision
    • 3-4 people.
  • Work Term
    • Permanent.
  • Work Language
    • English.
  • Hours
    • 30 to 35 hours per week.
