Brand Marketing Strategist for Cosmetics Industry

We are seeking a highly skilled Brand Marketing Strategist to join our team at Groupe Marcelle Inc., a leading cosmetics company in Canada. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to promote our brand across various channels.

About the Role

This is a temporary full-time position (12 months contract) based in Montreal, Quebec. As a Brand Marketing Strategist, you will report to the Senior Brand Manager – Marcelle and work closely with cross-functional teams to drive business growth through effective marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans to enhance brand awareness and drive sales.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Brand Manager to create internal and external briefs and execute plans on all media platforms.
  • Manage internal and external photo shoots / video creation sessions, including budgeting, resource allocation, and scheduling.
  • Oversee and approve social media content calendars from conceptualization to execution, supporting launches and campaigns.
  • Ensure brand consistency and messaging accuracy throughout 360 plans, building authentic relationships with consumers.
  • Manage and execute media planning, optimization, follow-up, and post-mortem activities with external agencies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in administration, marketing, or communications (an asset).
  • 3-5 years of experience in marketing & communications and 360 campaigns.
  • Excellent understanding of marketing and communication issues.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of the cosmetics market and industry, including retailers and distribution networks.
