Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Officer to join our team at RESIDENTIAL INSULATION SPECIALISTS INC. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing general and specialized equipment, materials, and business services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Purchase and Acquisition
    • Purchase general and specialized equipment, materials, or business services to meet the needs of our organization.
    • Assess requirements of our establishment to develop specifications for equipment, materials, and supplies to be purchased.
  • Contract Management
    • Determine contract terms and conditions to ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
    • Award contracts to appropriate parties, ensuring fair and transparent procurement practices.
  • Supply Chain Management
    • Establish delivery schedules to ensure timely receipt of goods and services.
    • Monitor progress of delivery schedules to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Communication and Problem-Solving
    • Contact clients and suppliers to resolve any issues or concerns that may arise during the procurement process.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as procurement, supply chain management, or business administration.
  • Computer and Technology Skills
    • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and other relevant software applications.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
    • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Experience
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a procurement or purchasing role.
    • Permanent employment with a minimum of 32 hours per week.
    • Fluency in English as the primary language of communication.
