About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to join our team at RESIDENTIAL INSULATION SPECIALISTS INC. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing general and specialized equipment, materials, and business services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Purchase and Procurement
    • Purchase general and specialized equipment, materials, or business services from reputable suppliers.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality of goods.
  • Contract Management
    • Determine contract terms and conditions, including pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
    • Award contracts to appropriate parties, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Inventory Management
    • Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock and minimize waste.
    • Establish and maintain accurate records of inventory, including quantities, values, and locations.
  • Communication and Problem-Solving
    • Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and concerns.
    • Identify and address potential problems, such as delays or quality issues, to ensure timely and satisfactory delivery of goods.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Experience
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or a related field.
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
    • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and other relevant software.
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 32-hour workweek. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
