Director of Compliance and Quality Assurance
Cowan Insurance Group is seeking a skilled professional to lead our compliance and quality assurance efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the company adheres to legal, regulatory, and standards compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain an enterprise risk management program to identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks.
- Ensure relevant internal company policies are in place to support compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Audit business contracts to ensure compliance and records are accurately maintained.
- Regularly assess company operations to identify compliance risks.
- Oversee business audits to identify potential noncompliance situations.
- Communicate with employees to ensure awareness of their responsibilities in complying with both internal and external laws and regulations.
- Support information security programs and initiatives.
- Ensure regulatory and legislative changes are implemented effectively.
- Monitor and assess E&O potential claims.
- Ensure business continuity plans and programs are in place.
- Ensure all corporate and individual licensing is current and valid.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
- 10 years or more of risk management experience.
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks and audit standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate well with others.
