Job Title: Audiovisual Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Audiovisual Project Manager to join our team at Plan Group.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end aspects of audiovisual projects, conferences, and site meetings. Key responsibilities include coordinating and overseeing all aspects of audiovisual requirements, collaborating with clients and internal teams, and maintaining an inventory of audiovisual equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and oversee all aspects of audiovisual requirements for projects, conferences, and site meetings.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand audiovisual needs, providing tailored solutions and defining the scope of work needed for job completion.
  • Maintain an inventory of audiovisual equipment, ensuring all items are recorded upon receipt and readily available for projects.
  • Coordinate equipment programming, installation, transportation logistics, and on-site bookings with clients.
  • Take ownership of projects from inception to completion, coordinating with internal teams, clients, and third-party vendors as needed.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring the timely and efficient execution of tasks.
  • Provide technical support during installs, promptly troubleshooting any audiovisual issues to ensure a seamless experience for clients.
  • Conduct pre-event checks to guarantee the functionality of all audiovisual equipment.
  • Provide training to junior technicians and end-users on the proper use and maintenance of audiovisual equipment.
  • Liaise with external audiovisual vendors to secure additional equipment and services as needed.
  • Negotiate quotes and agreements with vendors to ensure cost-effective solutions.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation for audiovisual installations, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Generate post-installation reports and feedback for continuous improvement within the AV department.

Requirements:

To excel in this position, you should have a minimum of 4 years of experience in audiovisual integration or a related field. You should also possess strong knowledge of audiovisual equipment, installation, and troubleshooting techniques, as well as excellent organizational and multitasking skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills are essential for collaboration with clients, team members, and vendors.

Benefits:

This role offers a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
