Job Summary

ECW Holdings Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that food and service meet high quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food and Supply Management
    • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain optimal inventory levels.
    • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation to minimize waste and optimize costs.
  • Staff Supervision and Training
    • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food to ensure efficient service.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards to maintain customer satisfaction.
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Work Scheduling and Administration
    • Establish work schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels during peak periods.
    • Manage staff attendance and performance to maintain a high level of productivity.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent in a related field.
    • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in food service management or a related field.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage staff and customers.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions under pressure.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
