Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at EgyCana Fast Food Enterprise Inc. as a key member of our food service team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items to meet customer demands.
    • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
    • Load buspans and trays with clean dishes and utensils for efficient service.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation
    • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, work surfaces, and storage areas to prevent cross-contamination.
    • Scour pots and pans to maintain their condition and ensure food safety.
    • Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand when necessary.
  • Inventory Management
    • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas to maintain inventory levels.
    • Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • General Maintenance
    • Remove kitchen garbage and trash to maintain a clean and healthy environment.
    • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe workspace.
    • Sharpen kitchen knives to ensure they are in good condition.
  • Teamwork and Communication
    • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve common goals and maintain a positive work environment.
    • Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors to ensure smooth operations and address any concerns.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
  • Language
    • Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours
    • 35 hours per week.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent position with a fast-paced work environment. The successful candidate will be required to work in a team-oriented setting and maintain a high level of productivity and attention to detail.
