Job Overview

We are seeking a Customer Service Professional to join our team at Purolator in Peterborough, ON. As a key member of our retail environment, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, resolving issues, and maintaining a positive relationship with customers.

Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $20.32 per hour, based on industry standards and the location.

Job Responsibilities
  • Customer Service Orientation
    • Serving customers efficiently and courteously over the phone and in person
    • Upselling and cross-selling corporate products and services
    • Handling customer complaints and inquiries
    • Problem-solving and resolving issue shipments
    • Working with Head Office, local management, drivers, and other corporate partners to ensure excellent customer service
  • Relationship Building
    • Establishing a positive relationship with customers, vendors, and key contacts
    • Communicating effectively with customers and key partners orally and in writing
  • Personal Responsibility and Accountability
    • Taking personal responsibility and accountability for actions and situations
    • Complying with all corporate policies and procedures (including uniforms)
    • Adhering to safety standards and being on time/attendance
Requirements
  • Customer service experience preferred (3-12 months)
  • Retail experience preferred (3-12 months)
  • Experience using technology/POS system preferred (3-12 months)
  • Ability to lift 70lbs/stand for 3-hour intervals
  • Professional communication skills: oral, written, and listening
  • Proven track record of personal responsibility and accountability
