Job Title: Tile Setter

We are seeking a skilled Tile Setter to join our team at LPT CONTRACTING LTD.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing tile surfaces in various settings, including commercial and residential environments. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and measure surfaces to be covered with tile
  • Mix and apply adhesives, mortars, and other materials as required
  • Set tiles in place and ensure proper alignment and straightening
  • Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings
  • Pack and remove excess grout
  • Remove and replace damaged or cracked tiles
  • Lay and set mosaic tiles for decorative designs
  • Install tile strips and other finishing touches
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a variety of settings, including dusty environments and on-site customer service locations. Physical demands of the job include handling heavy loads, bending, crouching, and kneeling.

Requirements:
  • Ability to distinguish between colors and attention to detail
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively
  • Reliability and dependability in meeting deadlines and workload
  • Ability to work overtime as required
