Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement a comprehensive financial strategy, including long-term planning, forecasting, and risk management.
- Provide high-level oversight of financial and capital assets, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with budget holders to understand financial risks and opportunities, and provide professional development and training as needed.
- Ensure financial systems, policies, and procedures meet the organization's short and long-term needs.
- Present key financial information to the Senior Leadership Team, Board, and other stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in business (accounting or finance major preferred), or equivalent training and experience.
- Master of Business Administration or equivalent training and experience.
- Experience within a school system is an asset.
