Job Overview

Trellix is seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Solutions Engineer for our Canada-based Commercial and Enterprise business. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building business relationships, developing technical expertise, and capturing key customer opportunities.

Your Role

  • Sales Enablement: Participate in sales conference calls, providing product information and collaborating with prospects to demonstrate the value of Trellix solutions.
  • Solution Presentation: Present XDR and cloud solutions that address customer needs and outcomes.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide expert knowledge on customer product and solution demonstrations.
  • Solution Proposals: Contribute to writing solution proposals that meet or exceed customer requirements.
  • RFP/RFI Response: Contribute to the technical response to RFIs/RFPs.
  • Pipeline Activities: Build and participate in pipeline activities.
  • Technical Knowledge: Maintain a high level of knowledge and hands-on experience across Trellix products, solutions, and sales proposition.
  • Industry Trends: Stay informed about security trends and industry analysts reports.
  • Feedback and Support: Share best practices, provide feedback to product management, and support go-to-market programs.
  • Customer Engagement: Engage in remote planning and complete customer product pilots.
  • Compliance: Adhere to Trellix corporate guidelines and compliance.

Your Qualifications

  • Location: Preferably based in Montreal or Quebec, secondary locations are Ottawa or Toronto.
  • Security Experience: At least 5+ years of security experience with deep knowledge in end-to-end cyber security solutions.
  • Impactful Presentations: Conduct impactful customer presentations that convey the value of the solution.
  • Beta Activities: Support customer beta activities and early adopter programs.
  • Technical Escalation: Provide technical escalation management within territory/accounts.
  • Salesforce Update: Update the technical SE activities within Salesforce system.
  • Time Management: Complete activities on time and to desired outcomes.
  • Sales Collaboration: Work with the sales team to strategize on sales approaches and build pipeline.
  • Product Evaluation: Ensure successful product evaluations and Proof of Concepts.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive base pay range of $160,000 - $190,000, with an On Target Earnings (OTE) range of $250,000 - $350,000. Long-term incentives may also be included, subject to various metrics and company policy.
