Job Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer for our Canada-based Commercial and Enterprise business in Toronto, Ottawa, and Quebec. As a key member of our team, you will build relationships, capture technical wins on customer opportunities, and develop strategic partnerships.

This role requires an in-depth understanding of Cybersecurity, Cloud Architectures, and on-premise hub and spoke infrastructures. You will need to understand the challenges our customers face in today's work environment and stay up-to-date with the latest trends in the security industry.

The ideal candidate will be based in Montreal or Quebec but can also consider locations in Ottawa or Toronto.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Participate in sales conference calls, providing product information and working with prospects at both a technical and business level to demonstrate how Trellix solutions can add value.
  2. Present XDR and cloud solutions and explain how they address customers' needs and outcomes.
  3. Provide technical expertise during customer product and solution demonstrations.
  4. Contribute to writing solution proposals, ensuring they meet or exceed customer requirements and fit the intended purpose.
  5. Contribute to technical or solution responses to RFIs/RFPs.
  6. Build and participate in pipeline activities.
  7. Retain a competent level of knowledge and hands-on experience across Trellix products, solutions, and sales propositions.
  8. Stay informed about security trends and industry analysts reports and information.
  9. Share best practices, provide feedback to product management, and support go-to-market programs.
  10. Plan and complete remote customer product pilots.
  11. Adhere to Trellix corporate guidelines and compliance.

About You:

As a Senior Solutions Engineer, you should have at least 5+ years of security experience with deep knowledge in end-to-end cybersecurity solutions. Your ability to conduct impactful presentations and convey the value of the solution will be crucial.

You should also be able to support beta activities, early adopter programs, and provide technical escalation management within your territory/accounts.

Able to update SE activities within Salesforce and ensure all tasks are completed on time and to desired outcomes.

You will work closely with the sales team to strategize sales approaches and build pipeline, as well as ensure successful product evaluations and Proof of Concepts.

This position comes with a competitive salary range and commission structure. The estimated annual salary for this role is $160,000-$190,000, with an OTE (On-Target Earnings) range of $250,000-$350,000. Compensation may also include long-term incentives subject to various metrics and company policy.
