As a member of an interdisciplinary team, you will deliver mental health treatment services to Veterans and their families, providing specialized assessment and treatment for work-related psychological stress and trauma.
The successful candidate will have a Master's degree in Social Work from a recognized university, registration with the Nova Scotia College of Social Workers, and a minimum of two years related clinical experience. They will also possess training in evidence-based therapies for PTSD, depression, anxiety disorders, and knowledge of substance misuse. Experience working in an interdisciplinary service delivery model, providing evidence-based trauma-focused therapy, and working with families and couples is required.
The OSI Clinic provides a unique opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, including Veterans, police, and Canadian Forces members. As a Healthcare Social Worker, you will be part of a dynamic team that values collaboration, continuous quality improvement, and best practices.
