Job Summary

BME, a Member of the Omnia Group, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plant Manager to lead our daily operations and ensure the highest level of productivity and efficiency in our automated electronic and shock tube detonator assembly plants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Leadership: Provide strategic direction and oversight to the production staff, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Quality Control: Oversee the quality control process, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining the highest standards of product quality.
  • Production Planning: Develop and implement effective production plans, ensuring timely and efficient completion of projects.
  • Cost Management: Analyze and manage production costs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing cost-saving initiatives.
  • Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE): Ensure a safe and healthy work environment, adhering to all relevant regulations and company policies.
  • Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation and process optimization.
  • Team Management: Lead and develop a high-performing team, providing coaching, training, and development opportunities.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Business, or related discipline.
  • Experience: 5+ years related technical experience, with 3+ years in a leadership position or supervisory experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, and a proven track record of driving business results.
