About the Role

We are seeking an experienced carpenter to join our team at ONTARIO TECH ROOFING INC.

The successful candidate will have 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the trade and possess a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare detailed estimates of labour and material costs to ensure accurate pricing for projects.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements and specifications.
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials to meet project needs.
  • Instruct apprentices and provide guidance on best practices and techniques in the trade.
  • Estimate costs and materials required for each project to ensure efficient use of resources.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position working 40 hours per week in various locations throughout the area. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with our team to deliver high-quality results.
