Enterprise Sales Development Representative

Job OverviewWe are currently seeking an experienced Enterprise Sales Development Representative to join our team. This individual will be responsible for driving business forward and disrupting the industry with uncapped commission opportunities.
The successful candidate will have overall accountability for prospecting and selling to assigned regions, as well as all associated administrative duties including tracking and reporting. This position reports directly to the Director of Sales and Business Development.
Duties and Responsibilities- Building relationships, sales funnel, and prospect list through prospecting and call planning
- Executing monthly prospecting and call plan with weekly accountability meetings
- Attending networking or sponsored events to increase visibility and generate leads
- Uncovering speaking opportunities to establish thought leadership in the industry
- Achieving annual and quarterly quota as assigned by management
- Conducting weekly meetings with qualified prospects to build rapport and identify opportunities
- Pre-call planning prior to discovery meetings to ensure preparedness and confidence
- Logging all accounts, contacts, calls, meetings, and opportunities into CRM (Salesforce)
To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate will possess:
- Proven new business sales record demonstrating ability to consistently meet or exceed targets
- Cultivating effective business relationships with executive decision makers and influencers
- Demonstrated ability to generate leads and acquire new business through strategic top-down solutions selling
- Developed network in enterprise solutions with experience using a consultative sales approach
- Resourceful, proactive, and tenacious with excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Skilled storyteller able to present complex ideas to C-level executives and technical influencers
- Experience with Salesforce and MS Office with strong attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with negotiation and objection handling techniques
- Basic understanding of corporate IoT, IT, IP, and PoE technologies
In addition to these qualifications, preference will be given to candidates with:
- College degree or diploma in IT, business, engineering, design, or related discipline
- Familiarity with commercial development and market research
- Active membership in professional organizations or community groups
