We are seeking a qualified Group Leader to join our EXCEL program team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading before and after school programs for elementary age students in various locations throughout the Halifax Regional Municipality.
Key Responsibilities- Lead before and after school programs for elementary age students
- Develop and implement engaging recreational programming
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure a safe and inclusive environment for students
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve program goals and objectives
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities
- Minimum one year's experience working with elementary age students
- Knowledge of recreational programming and child development principles
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High School Completion Certificate or equivalent
- Valid First Aid/CPR Certification
