About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Architect to join our Global Architecture & Urbanism Division at IBI Group. As a Senior Architect, you will be responsible for leading and managing large, complex projects and project teams, and contributing to the development of innovative design solutions for transit and urbanism projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage large, complex projects and project teams, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Develop and implement design strategies and solutions that meet the needs of clients and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with practice leaders and colleagues to enhance IBI Group's Transit Architecture Studio's culture for design excellence.
  • Lead Business Development (BD) efforts, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Minimum University Degree in Architecture and OAA Registered Architect.
  • Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in an architectural studio and minimum 5 years' experience in leading project teams and managing large, complex interdisciplinary projects.
  • Experience with Transit and alternative project delivery models.
  • Knowledge in Transit Agency policies around the development of transit stations and transit-oriented communities.
  • Understanding the role of developers in transit projects.
  • Competent knowledge of building codes and specifications.
