Senior Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Architect to join our team at IBI Group. As a Senior Architect, you will be responsible for leading and managing large, complex projects and project teams, developing fundamental design principles, and collaborating with practice leaders and colleagues to enhance our design excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage large, complex projects and project teams
- Develop and refine design principles for projects from conception to implementation
- Collaborate with practice leaders and colleagues to enhance design excellence
- Lead Business Development efforts
- Minimum University Degree in Architecture and OAA Registered Architect
- Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in an architectural studio and minimum 5 years' experience in leading project teams and managing large, complex interdisciplinary projects
Requirements:
- Experience with Transit and alternative project delivery models
- Knowledge in Transit Agency policies around the development of transit stations and transit-oriented communities
- Understanding the role of developers in transit projects
- Competent knowledge of building codes and specifications
