Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Team Lead Opportunity

Canada Diagnostic Centres (CDC) is a leading provider of diagnostic imaging services in Western Canada, with a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care. We are seeking a skilled and registered full-time Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Team Lead to join our team.

As the Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring the ultrasound team, overseeing workflow management, and ensuring the smooth execution of ultrasound procedures. You will also be responsible for implementing and overseeing performance management strategies, identifying and implementing process improvements, and participating in the accreditation process.

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in diagnostic medical sonography, leadership experience, and excellent communication skills. You will be responsible for fostering collaborative relationships with healthcare professionals across departments and ensuring seamless coordination of patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor the ultrasound team
  • Oversee workflow management and ensure smooth execution of ultrasound procedures
  • Implement and oversee performance management strategies
  • Identify and implement process improvements
  • Participate in the accreditation process

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in diagnostic medical sonography or a related field
  • Certification as Registered General Sonographer through Sonography Canada
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a diagnostic medical sonographer
  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience
